Greetings!
Tony Toni Tone was labelled a "new jack swing"
group from Oakland California who came to popularity
in the late 80's to the mid 90's. They had a sound
that literally carried a 'swing'!
The group was a family affair of D'wayne Wiggins
and brother Charlie Ray Wiggins (Raphael Saadiq),
as well as cousin Timothy Riley. They decided
on the group name after watching the World War II
movie called Tora, Tora, Tora.
